Instructor certified at Level 9 of the International Grooming Association (IGA)
Yuliia Vyshynska has worked in dog grooming for over 17 years. She runs the salon on Brunowstraße and teaches there herself – every student is guided personally.
Her focus is on safe handling, understanding canine behaviour and craftsmanship. With calm, patience and responsibility towards both animal and person – in daily salon work as much as in teaching.
Small groups
A maximum of three students. Every question gets answered, every technique can be demonstrated.

You work on animals actually brought in for grooming – with everything that entails.
A working salon
Teaching takes place in the running salon, not in a classroom.

Miez & Mops offers hands-on dog grooming courses in Berlin. The courses are aimed at beginners and career changers and take place in small groups with real dogs.
The duration depends on the format: the foundation course runs for two weeks, the intensive course for three weeks, and the one-to-one professional course for four weeks. Full details are on each course page.
No, no prior experience is required. The courses are structured so that beginners are introduced to practical work safely, step by step.
All courses take place on site in Berlin – in our professionally equipped premises, with real salon practice.
